I grew up on a small farm in Iowa and developed small town values that have stuck with me all my life. The values I hold today all came from growing up in a small town.
My core values are respect, integrity: service and excellence. In past years, I have served in leadership positions in service industries, public health, and a global nonprofit communications and leadership organization. I have learned that communication is as much about listening as it is about speaking.
It has been years since I received my Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Morningside University, but I have always felt that staying informed and continuing education is important with any successful career today. I have intentionally sought out areas to stay informed through a variety of educational sources. This is why for real estate, it was important to raise my level of expertise by earning the most comprehensive real estate designation: Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI).
I also have a solid education in real estate from life's experiences of buying and selling personal properties in other different states. I have been in my client's shoes. I understand the stress and frustrations that are often involved in the process of both selling and buying a home. No one likes unexpected surprises and unfortunately, they happen more than we like.
I appreciate how real estate contracts contain multiples pages of numbers and terms that can be confusing and if not understood can result in you paying more than you may need to. I strive to take as much of the stress out of the process as possible. I also know that it is important that we share mutual trust, and this is where my core values really apply. I fully understand and respect your situation and I listen carefully. I have worked diligently over the years to establish my reputation as a person of integrity. I purposely avoid taking on too many clients at one time so I can provide the service you deserve. I hold myself to a high standard of excellence.
I will be happy to meet with anyone over coffee to get acquainted and further introduce myself. Feel free to call, text or email me. I am here to serve you.
